All applied solution configuration texts are stored in a database in UNICODE format. This format allows using characters from different languages. A user can enter data in various languages, for example if an item description needs to include some text in the language of its manufacturer. The system also allows performing filtration and sorting across such texts.
International Dates and Numbers Support
At present all operators in the script language have Russian and English spellings. No additional modifications required — both variants are equally accepted by the system.
Accompanying documentation for the software is available in Russian or English. Multilingual supplemental description files and bilingual (English-Russian) Syntax Assistant functionality included in the software installation kit.

Localization Support in the Script Language
There are functions for:
Getting a string in a relevant language from a set of pre-defined strings in different languages.
Formatting numbers according to standard formats of a country selected; generating a report in a language specified.
Numbers and periods spelling functionality for the following languages: Russian, English, Byelorussian, Bulgarian, Estonian, Finnish, Georgian, German, Kazakh, Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.
Multilingual business application interface. One can create multilingual applied solutions, by using additional localized interfaces. With them, the following localized interface items are possible: system menu, dialogs, messages and the help system. See also the ’Language objects’ section.
Applied solution localization. There is a tool for rapid localization of applied solutions in 1C:Enterprise. It allows localizing and translating all occurrences of a string in an applied solution configuration, replacing it or just adding a translation into the configuration.
